Being a Pescetarian doesn't have to be pricey!!

So I'm still a Pescetarian and definitely loving it. People have asked me how do I feel and do I see a difference, is it expenisive, etc. Honestly, I do see and feel a lot different. I don't feel so heavy and bloated after I eat. I have more energy and I can stay up a lot later. When I sleep, I just knock out and well rested and I don't feel tired when I wake up. I've gone from having multiple trips to Starbucks, to just one coffee a day. Not only that, I've lost 10+lbs all ready. Well, then again, maybe that's because I've been working out a couple times a week too. I sometimes work out twice a day, and it's because of all the energy I have. Overall I'm feeling great! Also now, it's not about wanting to lose a lot of weight, but it's just about being, feeling healthy and staying healthy.

A couple things people ask me all the time too, is about what I eat. So I've listed a couple of my favorite recipes below. Also one of the amazing things I do eat, which I love, is really healthy, compared to something bought at a fast food restaurant and it practically costs the same.

McDonalds Cheese Burger = $1.00

Whole Grain Meatless Spaghetti
Eating Right Whole Grain Thin Spaghetti (Half) = $1.99
Organics Organic Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce = $2.50
Lightlife Smart Ground (I use half) = $4.39
= $8.88 and this can last us 2-3 meals each = $2.00 a meal

Ahi or Salmon Poke
(Got from my friend Gigi. Special thanks to her!)
2 pounds fresh tuna steaks, cubed = $10.00
1 cup soy sauce
3/4 cup chopped green onions = $0.99
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper (optional)
2 tablespoons finely chopped macadamia nuts
(I add avocado and seaweed at bottom)
Directions
1.In a medium size non-reactive bowl, combine Ahi, soy sauce, green onions, sesame oil, sesame seeds, chili pepper, and macadamia nuts; mix well. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.

After buying the sesame oi, sesame seeds, crushed red peppers, and macadamia nuts it came out to $20+ dollars, but now that I have all the ingredients and just need to buy the fish and green onions all the time I make this, it just comes out to $11.00 and this is about 4 meals for me = $2.00 a meal.

Baked Salmon with Brown Rice and Gravy (Keith likes to put Gravy in his Rice)
2 Salmon Crusted Fillet = $7.50
Hinode Extra Fancy Medium Grain Brown Rice - 5lb = $6.05 (1 Cup = $0.60)
Mccormick 30% Less Sodium Brown Gravy Mix - .87 Oz = $1.89
= $10.00 for two meals (sometimes 3 meals)

So being a meatless eater isn't as expensive as most people think. Enjoy!!
